The results are in for the 3rd annual Ron Ficker Memorial Bass Tournament!
1st - 19lbs 6oz - Aaron and Allen Fullbright of Malvern
2nd - 16lbs 2oz - Keith Lambert and Tim Howard of Benton
3rd - 14lbs 8oz - Dave Lewis of Benton and Gary Cates of North Little Rock
4th - 14lbs 2oz - Robert Pilkington and Dustin Benish of Little Rock
5th - 13lbs 10oz - James Sturm and Chuck Ragsdale of Benton
Big Bass - 5lbs 12oz - Jason Ballentine of Bryant along with Jason Scroggins of Benton
"Trashy Fisherman Award" - 2lbs 4oz pickerel - Russell Haislip and Rudy Westbrook both of Benton

Are you ready for updates? It's about time isn't it? Well, there are a couple updates on schedule. There will be more tournaments being listed (including the Legends' Bass Tournament) and more information about the store. The pictures section will get a small overhaul making it much more functional. And guess what else? Doyle on Demand! Hold on to your fishing poles, boys, this one is a big one!

Finally I am going to post the winners of the Ron Ficker Memorial Bass Tournament 2007! First place went to Scotty Hardage and Ricky Owens with 18.14 lbs. Second place, Gary Bono and Johnny Rowtun with 17.2 lbs. Gentry Depriest and Nathan Kew got third with 15.12 lbs. Fourth place went to Kevin Brown and Don Brown with an even 15 lbs. Kelly Lindsay and Ryan Shuffield got fifth 13.10 lbs. Big Bass was awarded to Roy Ferrell for his 6 pounds and 4 ounce bass. The "Trashy Fishermen" of the tournament were Larry "Frank" Howard and Lonnie Grim. They brought in two fish (striper and walleye) that weighed the same: 5.8 lbs. Guess what? MacsMinnows.com is up and completely operational. Now what, you ask? Well, I'm going to be working on the site again. You'll see minor improvements here and there and you will see major content updates. Trust me, you are going to love it. Some of the first few updates will be the events page, an update to the Legends' Cafe, and I'll be putting up pictures of the Ron Ficker Memorial Bass Tournament that happened last August (2007).
